When I looked up into him, he is someone who I feel a lot of ethnic people can learn from as he turned his life around and managed not only do that but also managed to invest in his local community and help in various ways to better the people around him and I can only commend him for that.
This leads me on to the point of this particular post about leaving a legacy. A lot of us have listened to Jay Z’s album 4:44 and he touches on a few points about leaving a legacy and what that consists of. I know I am far too young to even be thinking about legacies and so forth however I would be lying if I said I didn’t think about it every once in a while.
Your legacy should be able to live on far beyond you do and Nipsey Hussle definitely achieved that. I like to give accolades because being able to invest in your own area and other black businesses is a truly wonderful thing to see. In these volatile times it’s always good to see such positive things Nipsey Hussle has been a part of come in the limelight. It’s just sad that it has had to happen in these circumstances.
